Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the training consist of?

Our Sports Performance programs are focused on teaching each athlete correct training techniques, reducing injury potential and improving overall athletic performance and movement.  Each training session consists of the following components:

  • Warm-up  – instruction and training in proper warm-up, stretching, and mobility drills
  • Movement  – linear and lateral speed and agility, acceleration and deceleration techniques
  • Power – Plyometrics and jump training, explosive weight training, medicine balls training
  • Strength – Functional strength training, whole body approach, emphasis on proper and safe technique
  • Injury Reduction – Identify and correct incorrect movement patterns, improve stability
  • Conditioning  – Increase work capacity for reduced time to fatigue and increased game fitness

How long does the training last?

Each seasonal program (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer) runs for approximately 12 weeks and each workout is from 1.5 to 2 hours long.

How many days per week?

Our programs offer two or three day per week options. Three days per will produce better results in a shorter time frame. Two days per week is designed for the athlete who has limited time and will not produce the same level of results as three days per week. During the summer session we offer four days per week training for the most committed athletes.

When can I train?

When the athlete registers for the program he/she signs up for a training time. The athlete then trains at that time only. Three day per week programs are generally offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Two days per week programs are offered Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. Training times can be found on our registration form.

How much does it cost?

Our group programs average $13 to $15 per workout for a 12 week program of 2 to 4 days per week.

Are there discounts for teams or siblings?

We offer team and family discounts based on the number of athletes training.
